WHAT TO SEE IN TRENTO?<\/h3>\n

Start your tour from the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore<\/strong> and continue towards the picturesque\u00a0via Belenzani<\/strong>, then visit Palazzo Thun<\/strong>. Now head to\u00a0Piazza Duomo <\/strong>and visit\u00a0the Basilica of San Vigilio<\/strong>,\u00a0Palazzo Pretorio<\/strong> and the Civic Tower<\/strong>. In the centre of the square you can admire the Fountain of Neptune<\/strong>.
\nStop at Palazzo Roccabruna<\/strong>, then visit the Castello del Buonconsiglio Museum<\/strong> and\u00a0Torre Aquila<\/strong>.
\nFinally, pass by Piazza Cesare Battisti<\/strong> and visit the\u00a0Sas Underground Archaeological Space<\/strong>. Other stops to add to your itinerary are\u00a0Palazzo delle Albere<\/strong> and the MUSE (Trento Science Museum)<\/strong>.

TRENTINO SPECIALTIES<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Start with the appetizers and discover some of the many regional products such as\u00a0carne sal\u00e0<\/strong> and mortandela <\/strong>(two typical salami of the province of Trento) speck<\/strong> and puzzone di Moena<\/strong>\u00a0(a DOP cheese made from raw cow’s milk).<\/p>\n

Sauerkraut<\/strong> and polenta<\/strong> are a must in the city, but you can also taste various types of pasta such as canederli<\/strong> (bread dumplings topped with speck), br\u00f2 brus\u00e0<\/strong> (soup with a toasted flavor, enriched with smoked bacon), strangolapreti<\/strong> (bread dumplings enriched with spinach), barley soup<\/strong> and pat\u00e0o<\/strong> (yellow flour minestrone with sauerkraut).<\/p>\n

Second courses are mainly meat dishes<\/strong>, especially game<\/strong> ones. You may also try the\u00a0Ossei scampadi<\/strong>, that is, escaped birds, an ancient recipe from Trentino that dates back to at least the sixteenth century. These are small veal rolls, larded with speck or pancetta, the shape of which would remind you of that of small birds, which however are not there because they “ran away”. We also suggest the\u00a0sguazet<\/strong>\u00a0(stewed with veal offal and served with polenta) or the\u00a0tortel<\/strong>\u00a0di patate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The most typical desserts are the\u00a0apple pie<\/strong> and the\u00a0strudel<\/strong>, but also try the\u00a0torta di fregoloti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

TRENTO MONTE GRAPPA<\/h3>\n

The bus stop is located in Lungadige Monte Grappa, in front of the Cableway – Trento Valley Station. It presents itself as a long yellow stripe dedicated to the bus departures\/arrivals. It is also at a few minutes from S. Lorenzo overpass, through which you can reach the Train Station in about 8 minutes walking.<\/p>\n
