{"id":9512,"date":"2017-05-29T14:15:46","date_gmt":"2017-05-29T14:15:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.buscenter.it\/diritti-dei-passeggeripassengers-rights\/"},"modified":"2020-07-10T16:55:29","modified_gmt":"2020-07-10T16:55:29","slug":"diritti-dei-passeggeripassengers-rights","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/buscenter.travel\/en\/diritti-dei-passeggeripassengers-rights\/","title":{"rendered":"PASSENGERS RIGHTS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Passenger rights according to Regulation (EU) no. 181\/2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32011R0181&amp;from=IT\">Regulation (EU) no. 181\/2011<\/a> (&#8220;Regulation&#8221;) on the rights of passengers in bus and coach transport, which entered into force on 1 March 2013, provides for a minimum set of rights for passengers travelling by bus within the European Union area, which, by way of non-exhaustive example, provide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>non-discriminatory terms and conditions<\/li>\n<li>access to the transport without additional charges, for people with disabilities or reduced mobility, as well as compensation in the case of any damage or loss or their mobility equipment<\/li>\n<li>minimum rules on passenger information before and during the journey, as well as general information on their rights<\/li>\n<li>complaint systems, specially arranged by carriers and accessible to all passengers<\/li>\n<li>independent national bodies in each Member State responsible for ensuring the application of the regulation and, if necessary, for imposing sanctions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For appropriate and comprehensible information regarding their rights under this Regulation, interested passengers can refer to the full text of the Regulation available at the following <a href=\"http:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32011R0181&amp;from=IT\">link<\/a>, or to a summary of the Regulation prepared by the European Commission and made available in <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/transport\/sites\/transport\/files\/themes\/passengers\/road\/doc\/summary_it.pdf\">Italian<\/a> and in all the official languages \u200b\u200bof the European Union institutions at the following <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/transport\/themes\/passengers\/road_it\">link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As required by the Regulation, the competent authority to supervise the correct application of the same in Italy is the Transport Regulation Authority (&#8220;ART&#8221;), which can conduct monitoring and fact-finding investigations on the services as well as assess any passenger complaints.<\/p>\n<p>ACCORDING TO ART. 25 OF REGULATION (EU) No. 181\/2011, PASSENGERS MAY HAVE ACCESS TO COMPREHENSIBLE INFORMATIONS REGARDING THEIR RIGHTS UNDER THE MENTIONED REGULATION, THROUGH <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/transport\/sites\/transport\/files\/themes\/passengers\/road\/doc\/summary_en.pdf\">THIS SUMMARY<\/a> ADOPTED BY THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Passenger rights according to Regulation (EU) no. 181\/2011 Regulation (EU) no. 181\/2011 (&#8220;Regulation&#8221;) on the rights of passengers in bus&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v15.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>PASSENGERS RIGHTS &bull;
